Is the REx-PN the same as the old CPNRE?
No. The REx-PN replaced the CPNRE in January 2022 for Registered Practical Nurse registration in Ontario and several other provinces. It is computer-adaptive and includes question formats — like Select All That Apply and case-based items — that the older CPNRE used differently, so older prep material can leave gaps.
